Library's New Metadata Librarian and Archivist
July 21, 2013The Law Library is proud to announce the hiring of Travis H. Williams as the new Metadata Librarian and Archivist. Travis graduated with honors from LSU with a bachelor's degree in General Studies and a master's degree in Library and Information Science. He has worked as a graduate assistant in Hill Memorial Library, as an archives intern with Louisiana Public Broadcasting, as an information specialist with the LA Department for Environmental Quality, and as an associate producer of the Red Stick International Animation Festival. Summer 2013
July 15, 2013Professor John Church presented a paper entitled, Antitrust Enforcement of Vertical Restraints Involving Internet Sales: The U.S. Perspective, at the 2013 workshop “E-Commerce and Competition Law: Recent Developments” which took place July 5 at the EMLyon Business School, one of the leading business schools in France. The paper will be published in the November 2013 edition of the Revue Lamy de la Concurrence. Since 2009 EMLyon and University of Lyon III have organized a series of workshops on competition law and associated economic issues. New Library Scanner
July 10, 2013New Library Scanner The Law Library is pleased to announce the installation of a new Bookeye overhead scanner in the Reserve room. As an alternative to photocopying, the Bookeye scanner allows patrons to create image files of library materials and save them to a flash drive or send them via email. For instructions on using the new scanner, follow the prompts on the touch panel or see a Reference Librarian.

Holder, recently decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
