About
After a pandemic-related hiatus, the LSU Law Distinguished Alumni Awards return on Thursday, May 8. Nominations were invited from the entire LSU Law alumni community. A panel of six members of the Law Alumni Board of Trustees and Dean Alena M. Allen selected the honorees based on their exemplification of values that are common to LSU Law alumni.
LSU Law has conducted a formal program to recognize its distinguished alumni since 1986. Past honorees have advanced the profession and served the public in immeasurable ways. Our 2025 honorees continue this proud tradition.
The event includes a cocktail reception, dinner, and awards presentation, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and concluding at 9:00 p.m.
The location is the South Stadium Club, accessed through Gate 20 in LSU’s Tiger Stadium. Parking is available in lot 401, just across South Stadium Drive from Gate 20.
Doors in the reception area open onto Tiger Stadium, directly opposite the north stadium scoreboard, which will feature a welcome message to LSU Law alumni and serve as a background for photos. A trio of musicians will provide entertainment throughout the evening for an anticipated audience in excess of 200 people.
