Nominations open for the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards
Do you know of a fellow LSU Law alumni or colleague who is worthy of recognition? Nominate them for one of the LSU Law Distinguished Alumni Awards today!
The LSU Law Distinguished Alumni Awards program originally launched in 1986 and has evolved over the last 40 years with new award categories, criteria, and a selection process managed by the LSU Law Alumni Board of Trustees. Nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards open on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025 and will close on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025. Click here to learn more about the awards and to submit your nomination.
Honorees will be announced in January 2026 along with details on reserving tickets and tables. The 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony includes a reception and awards presentation, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and concluding at 9:00 p.m. at the South Stadium Club in LSU’s Tiger Stadium.
