Professor Litvinoff to be Honored by Chancellor’s Council March 20, 2009

The Law Center's Chancellor's Council will pay tribute to Boyd Professor Saúl Litvinoff at a gala planned for Friday, March 20, 2009 on the LSU campus. Chancellor Jack Weiss has declared 2008-09 the Year of Litvinoff in honor of the professor's retirement. The announcement was made at an assembly of peers, friends, and family who gathered at the LSU Law Center on Friday, November 14, to celebrate Litvinoff's 43 years of service to the Law Center. Ask any associate or friend of Allen Lewis Smith, Jr. to describe the man and you will receive a variety of stories that leave you wondering if they are all about the same person.
