LSU Law Professor Keith Hall Part of Research Team Awarded $1.3M For Clean Energy Research
November 28, 2016The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded a $1.3 million research grant to an interdisciplinary team of scholars headed up by the LSU Center for Energy Studies. The multi-year project will examine the technical and economic feasibility of developing a commercial-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in Louisiana’s industrial corridor between Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

LSU Law Names National Moot Court Team In Memory of Tom Fore Phillips
November 15, 2016LSU Law's national moot court team was officially renamed the Tom Fore Phillips National Moot Court Team during a ceremony Oct. 21 at the Taylor Porter law offices in downtown Baton Rouge. The renaming celebrates Phillips — LSU Law graduate of the class of 1952, veteran of the national moot court team and former Taylor Porter managing parter — who passed away in 2011.
