The LSU Immigration Law Clinic recently attained legal status for three clients over the summer.
- Andrew Whall (’16) acquired special immigrant juvenile status for his 18-year-old client from Honduras.
- Philip Hunter (’16) assisted his 40-year-old Sudanese client to become a naturalized United States citizen.
- Rome Gonsoulin (’17) acquired an employment authorization document for her 50-year-old client from Zimbabwe.
On July 14 , Professor Lauren Aronson presented to a group of Sudanese, Cuban and Syrian refugees regarding their rights in the United States and their future immigration-related legal needs at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
