LSU Law Professor John Devlin was named the recipient of the 2016 Susan C. Kalinka Award for Advocacy Programs Coach of the Year at Thursday night’s Advocacy Programs Banquet.
The Kalinka Award recognizes a coach of one of the Law Center’s moot court or trial advocacy external competition teams who embodies the inspiration and dedication of the late Professor Kalinka.
Devlin was selected as this year’s Kalinka Award recipient for his unwavering support of the Law Center’s many advocacy program opportunities, his relentless dedication to perfection at the podium and in the courtroom, and his readily apparent wish to see the students that he coaches perform to their greatest potential.
