LSU Law Center Places in Top 8 Nationally at 2011 National Civil Rights Trial Competition

The LSU Law Civil Rights Trial Advocacy team, comprised of students Anna Brown, John McCormick, James Sudduth, and Lykisha Vaughan, placed as one of the top eight trial teams nationally at the Peter James Johnson National Civil Rights Trial Competition, hosted by St. John’s University School of Law.

The team competed in New York City the weekend of October 22.  The team was consistently praised by the judges for its skilled case presentation and mastery of evidence.

The Civil Rights team is coached by Professor Jeffrey Brooks, and also consisted of shadow team members Haley Jones and Drew Nordgren.
