Third-year LSU Law Student and SBA Executive President Clare Sanchez (’16) will serve a one-year term as the new student member of the LSU Board of Supervisors. She was sworn in at the Board’s June meeting.
“I am so grateful to have the honor of serving our students and the LSU System in this capacity,” said Sanchez. “These are challenging times in higher education, and I take the responsibility of advocating for LSU students across the state very seriously. I will do my best to serve them well,” she added.
A Lake Charles native, Sanchez is currently a Senior Associate and Issue Editor on the Louisiana Law Review, a member of LSU Law’s Moot Court Board, and a Law Ambassador. She has previously served as the Student Bar Association 1L Class Representative, and 2L Class Representative.
