Forty-nine members of the LSU Law Class of 2026 have been selected for the 2025-26 Board of Advocates, the Law Center’s student honor organization dedicated to the promotion and development of oral and written persuasive advocacy skills.
Rising third-year law students are selected to membership on the Board of Advocates based on a holistic application that looks at a student’s success in LSU Law’s many different internal and external advocacy competitions, teams, and other skills development opportunities. The Board of Advocates is the result of a merger of the former Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Boards.
The Board of Advocates constitution and bylaws set a complex point system that is used to determine membership on the Board of Advocates. The 2025-2026 Board of Advocates are:
