Four LSU Law students were elected to serve as the Executive Board of the Law Center’s 2016-2017 Trial Advocacy Board. They are:
President: Nathan Board
Vice President of Internal Competitions: Hannah Marler
Vice President of External Competitions: Joseph Nerren
Secretary: Robert Cavell
The Trial Advocacy Board provides practical trial and alternative dispute resolution experience to the student body of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. The Trial Advocacy Board sponsors a number of external traveling teams, organizes the Arbitration and Ira S. Flory Trial Competitions Competition for second and third-year students, and organizes the Opening Statement Competition for second-year law students.
Membership on the Trial Advocacy Board is an academic honor awarded to rising third-year students who have demonstrated commitment to the Trial Advocacy Board, as demonstrated by volunteer participation in the many events the Board sponsors as well as by student success in internal and external competitions.
