Event Description | The LSU Law Center community is invited to attend the Final Round of the 2025 Criminal Law Interviewing and Counseling Competition ("The CLICC"). The CLICC is a dispute resolution tournament for LSU Law students designed to expose students to the fundamental skills necessary for all successful attorneys, namely the ability to interview, counsel, and support a client through their legal issue. Competitors will conduct an initial intake interview with a person playing the role of the client and then address both the client’s legal and non-legal needs. All of the competition problems are of potential clients facing criminal law issues – competitors will take on the role of a private criminal defense attorney in all rounds. Students will counsel the clients as a team of 2. |
