The Judge Henry A. Politz Professorship was established in memory of Judge Henry A. Politz by friends, family, and colleagues. A Korean War veteran of the Air Force, he received a degree from the LSU Law Center in 1959. As a judge on the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Politz was known for his judicial probity, his passion for life, and his sense of humor.
