It was standing room only as the LSU Law Center honored Michael H. Rubin as its 2007 Distinguished Alumnus. Friends, colleagues, fellow grads, and family members joined in the celebration and presentation of the award by Chancellor Jack Weiss.
This award, presented each year, recognizes a graduate who demonstrates personal and professional achievements, loyalty to the Law Center, and fidelity to the highest ethical standards.
The morning began with an invocation delivered by Rabbi Harold L. Robinson, recognition followed from friend and peer E. Phelps Gay, and Rubin then charmed the crowd with his acceptance remarks, which included an entertaining animated slide show and a musical performance on the grand piano.
