With commencement right around the corner, the LSU Law Center would like to share some information to help things go smoothly.
The LSU Law commencement ceremony will take place on June 1.
There is construction taking place along Nicholson Drive near the PMAC and Tiger Stadium, which may cause delays. Please plan to leave early or consider alternate routes to give yourself and your family time to arrive and park.
As part of this construction, Nicholson Drive will shift to two-way traffic on the southbound lane. The two-way traffic on the southbound lanes will require the closure of North Stadium Drive from the Athletic Administration Building’s gated drive to Nicholson Drive until work is completed. For safety purposes, the sidewalks near the intersection of North Stadium Drive and Nicholson Drive will also be closed to pedestrian traffic.
The parallel parking along Nicholson will be closed.
As part of the Nicholson Gateway Development project, this roadway improvement work includes road resurfacing, installation of new curbs and drainage, lighting improvements, and the introduction of enhanced medians and pedestrian crossings to create traffic calming and improve pedestrian safety.
