LSU Law’s Scholars for Environment and Energy Development will present a talk by former United States Senator Mary Landrieu at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the McKernan Auditorium.
A three-time senator from Louisiana from 1996-2014, Landrieu will discuss her work following her tenure on Capitol Hill. She especially will focus on her work with Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, as well as her take on the future of the state and its coastal needs.
A 15-minute Q&A session will follow Landrieu’s presentation.
The Scholars for Environment and Energy Development (SEED), formerly the Environmental Law Society at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, is a group of scholars and students dedicated to careers in environmental law, community engagement and advocacy, and conservation of Louisiana’s natural resources.
