LSU Law students and faculty members “Paused for a Cause” on March 25 when they volunteered at four sites across Baton Rouge. Students partnered with Volunteers in Public Schools to organize the library at McKinley High School, sorted more than 20,000 pounds of food at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, built organizational shelving at Connections for Life Thrift Store, and performed general cleaning and upkeep at Cat Haven.
“Pause for a Cause” is an annual day of service sponsored by the Law Center’s Public Interest Law Society in collaboration with the Student Bar Association.
