The LSU Law Center’s Public Interest Law Society (PILS) and the Jean and George Pugh Institute for Justice will host a public forum on Wednesday, April 2 to discuss Louisiana v Kennedy, a Supreme Court case scheduled for hearing the week of April 14, 2008.
The case relates to whether capital punishment can be imposed for rape of a child.
The forum will be conducted by Jelpi Picou, Director of the Capital Appeals Project, and LSU Law Professor Paul Baier.
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at 12:40 p.m. in Room 108 of the LSU Law Center.
