Student Affairs
The Law Center’s Office of Student Affairs is responsible for fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for students in and outside of the classroom. The Office of Student Affairs serves as a liaison between the Law Center’s student body and faculty, staff, and administrators.
Some of the services provided by the Office of Student Affairs:
- Welcoming new students and facilitate the transition to the Law Center
- Serving as a liaison to student organizations (link to student orgs), providing information about university regulations, fundraising, and event planning
- Working with the university’s Office of Disability Services and managing in class and exam accommodations for students with learning differences
- Educating students about the Honor Code, academic integrity and other policies of the Law Center, as well as assist with enforcement of those policies
- Promote discussion of health and wellness during and after law school
- Oversee certification for the bar exam
- Refer students to appropriate resources, such as Mental Health Services
