Nearly 40 LSU Law Alums, 12 Judges Help in Annual Trial Advocacy and Persuasion Training Program

Nearly 40 LSU Law alums and 11 judges came out to the LSU Law Center to help 3L students in the annual Trial Advocacy and Persuasion Training Program. The program, which was held Aug. 8-10, gave students the opportunity for hands-on trial experience as they presented opening and closing arguments; depositions; and direct and cross examinations.

LSU Law to Provide Assistance for Students, Faculty and Staff Affected by Flood

As we finish our first day of classes, I wanted to update you on what we are doing for people who have not been able to make it to classes, discuss opportunities to help others and to get assistance, and invite you to lunch tomorrow (Thursday). Let me begin with lunch. Tomorrow, we will have pizza and water for all students, faculty, and staff in the student lounge from noon until 1:30 PM (or when food runs out).
