140 LSU Law students earn academic honors for Spring 2021 semester

Fifty-five LSU Law students have been awarded the Paul M. Hebert Scholar honor for academic achievement in the Spring 2021 semester and 85 have been selected to be Dean’s Scholars. The Paul M. Hebert Scholar is awarded to the top 10% of LSU Law students earning 12 or more semester hours of credit in courses taken during an individual semester at the Law Center and the Dean’s Scholar is awarded to the top 25% of students who earn at least 12 hours of credit during an individual semester. 'Journal of Energy Law and Resources' names Junior Associates for Volume X

Sixteen LSU Law students have been selected by the Journal of Energy Law and Resources Board of Editors and Senior Associates to serve as Junior Associates for Volume X. The Journal of Energy Law and Resources  is a student-edited academic journal based out of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. A group of interested students founded JELR in November of 2011, and the first issue went into publication the fall of 2012. JELR is committed to developing and promoting scholarship on a diverse variety of topics related to energy and environmental law. 'Louisiana Law Review' names Junior Associates for Volume 82

Twenty-five LSU Law students have been selected by the Louisiana Law Review Board of Editors and Senior Associates to serve as Junior Associates for Volume 82. Since 1938, the Louisiana Law Review has served as Louisiana’s flagship legal journal and has become a vibrant forum for scholarship in comparative and civil law topics. It currently ranks in the top 200 student-edited journals, and among the top 100 journals for the highest number of cases citing to a law review.
