Nine out of 10 in LSU Law Class of 2022 were employed within 10 months of graduation
April 17, 2023The latest employment and salary figures from the American Bar Association show that 90% of the graduates in the LSU Law Class of 2022 were employed within 10 months of their graduation last May. Among them, 87% of last year’s graduates were employed in positions for which bar passage was required, and 11% were employed in positions for which a J.D. was an advantage. The majority found employment in private practice—62%—while 13% landed judicial clerkships, 8% were working in business and industry, 5% were in public interest positions, and 2% found academic work. April 11, 2023The 2023-24 Board of Advocates Executive Committee was elected on the evening of Tuesday, April 4, following the final round of the Dean’s Cup Moot Court Competition, which was won by McKenzie Connelly. The Board of Advocates is the Law Center’s student honor organization dedicated to the promotion and development of oral and written persuasive advocacy skills.
