LSU Law 3L student Jacob Cunningham was awarded a scholarship by the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation for the 2018-19 academic year, announced during the EMLF’s Board of Trustees Meeting on Sunday.
Cunningham is one of only 10 students to be awarded such a scholarship by EMLF for 2018-19, and the $4,000 scholarship awarded to him is larger than the average scholarship granted by EMLF.
Earlier this year, Cunningham also earned a scholarship from the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation for the 2018-19 academic year.
According to Keith Hall, Director of the Mineral Law Institute and the Campanile Charities Professor of Energy Law, Cunningham is one of only two LSU Law students to receive scholarships from both the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
