The LSU Law community is invited to a memorial service to honor and remember Professor A.N. Yiannopoulos, who passed away Feb. 1 at age 88.
The service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on LSU’s campus.
Professor Yiannopoulos was a legend of Louisiana law. He helped reshape and rewrite major parts of the Louisiana civil code, as well as helped shape generations of lawyers during his 21-year tenure at LSU Law.
In its 75th anniversary issue, the Louisiana Bar Journal declared Yiannopoulos “Louisiana’s most influential jurist in our time.” LSU Law agrees.
