LSU Law professor Edward Richards was recently named to the Editorial Board of the legal journal “Laws.”
Richards joins the 28-member board comprised of law professors from schools across the country. “Laws” is an international, peer-reviewed, quick-refereeing scholarly open access journal (free for readers), which publishes works from extensive fields including legal systems, legal theory, legal institutions, and a broad range of legal subjects.
Richards joined LSU Law in 2002 as the Harvey A. Peltier Professor of Law and Director of the Program in Law, Science, and Public Health. Since coming to LSU, he has done extensive work in national security law. He has been a consultant to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal agencies, and has authored more than 140 articles and five books.
