Tell us about the student organizations you were involved in at LSU Law, as well as any special events at LSU Law that you may have worked on.
I was Managing Editor of the LSU Law Journal for Social Justice & Policy. I was also a member of the Women Law Students Association and served as Professor (Bill) Corbett’s research assistant.
Tell us about the awards and/or academic honors you’ve received during your time at LSU Law that you’re most proud of.
I am most proud of the CALI awards I received throughout my time at LSU Law as well as receiving various Paul M. Hebert Scholar awards.
What are your fondest memories of your LSU Law experience?
My fondest memories include learning from such knowledgeable and highly esteemed professors. And meeting such great people along the way.
What are your immediate career plans after taking the bar exam?
I will be working in the employment law and commercial litigation practice groups as an associate attorney at Phelps Dunbar in their Fort Worth, Texas office.
What are your long-term career ambitions?
I aspire to be a successful litigator who my clients can trust and to make partner one day.
What advice do you have for current law students who aspire to graduate as a member of the Order of the Coif?
Keep pushing through! And never stop working hard.
