I will be starting as an associate at Kean Miller in Baton Rouge after I take the bar exam.
Please tell us about the organizations and activities you participated in at LSU Law, including any awards or honors you received.
I was a Junior Associate and a Senior Associate on the Journal of Energy Law and Resources, where I was lucky enough to be published.
Please tell us about any LSU Law faculty, classes, or other experiences that were particularly impactful on your legal education.
My time in the Civil Mediation Clinic was particularly impactful. It allowed me to see, on a more granular level, how everyday people interact with our legal system.
What are your fondest memories from your time at LSU Law?
My fondest memories of law school are spending time outside of school with the friends I made in school.
What advice would you give to students entering law school who aspire to become Order of the Coif members when they graduate?
My piece of advice that I’ve clung to in law school is that there is no substitute for hard work. Short cuts can only get you so far. But just as important as working hard is finding time to rest and take breaks.
