What are your immediate career plans?
I will be joining Davidson Meaux in Lafayette, LA as an associate attorney.

Please tell us about the organizations and activities you participated in at LSU Law, including any awards or honors you received.
I received the Graduate Certificate in Estate Planning & Taxation and CALI Awards in Legal Research and Writing I & II, Torts, Constitutional Law, Matrimonial Regimes, Louisiana Civil Procedure II, and Louisiana Legal Research. I also completed an externship at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Andrea Carroll. Additionally, I served as a Junior Associate for Volume 83 and a Senior Associate for Volume 84 of Louisiana Law Review. My comment titled “‘Til Death Do Us Part? Louisiana’s Inconsistent Approach to Divorce Litigation After a Decedent-Spouse’s Death” was published in Issue I of Volume 84. My blog post titled “An Unconventional Obligation: The Marriage Contract in Louisiana After Wederstrandt v. Kol” was published in October 2023.

Please tell us about any LSU Law faculty, classes, or other experiences that were particularly impactful on your legal education.
Professor Missy Lonegrass served as my Law Review advisor and provided me with invaluable guidance in the process of writing my article. Also, my legal writing classes with Professor Heidi Thompson helped me tremendously by developing my legal writing skills and teaching me the value of legal writing.

What are your fondest memories from your time at LSU Law?
The tailgates, football games, and Hats ‘n Canes.

What advice would you give to students entering law school who aspire to become Order of the Coif members when they graduate?
Learn what works for you and hold yourself accountable!
