21 LSU Law students nominated to Wex Malone Inn of Court

21 LSU Law students have been nominated for membership in the Wex Malone Inn of Court, a prestigious chapter of local lawyers dedicated to improving civility, ethics, and professionalism among the bench and the bar. Students were assessed during their performance in LSU Law’s annual Trial Advocacy Program, and faculty advisors were then able to nominate a limited number of students whom they saw fit for this honor. The Wex Malone Inn of Court is one of the 175 chapters of the American Inns of Court nationwide and consists of leading attorneys and judges in the greater Baton Rouge area.

The Wex Malone Chapter meets once a month to hold programs and discussions on matters of skills and professionalism. Membership in the Inn provides students with excellent networking opportunities, access to professional skills workshops, and the possibility of being matched with attorney mentors who are skilled in assisting young attorneys entering the legal market.
