Classes Canceled Monday and Tuesday, January 13-14, 2020

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff –

By now you have likely seen the announcement that the LSU Board of Supervisors passed a resolution calling for the cancellation of classes on Monday and Tuesday, given the Tigers’ participation in the national championship football game on Monday night. Because of the language of the Board’s resolution, the Law Center does not have discretion to depart from that decision. As a result, all classes and activities scheduled at the Law Center on January 13, 2020 and January 14, 2020 are canceled. We will resume normal operations on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Arrangements for necessary class and event make-ups will be made in the next couple weeks and communicated shortly thereafter.

The University will remain open despite class cancellation, which means that Law Center employees will need to report to work or submit a leave request for any time taken. The LSU Law Library will also be open on Monday and will close at 6 p.m., and it will be open during regular hours on Tuesday.

Best wishes for an enjoyable game-watching experience!
