LSU Law 3L Ahmed Soussi was the recipient of the Louisiana Bar Foundation Law Student Pro Bono Award at the Louisiana Supreme Court on May 22.

The award recognizes a law student from an ABA-accredited law school in Louisiana who has demonstrated a dedication to providing legal services to the poor.

Soussi received the award because of his leadership and consistent involvement in pro bono programs and clinics at the LSU Law Center, said Robert Lancaster, LSU Law professor and director of Clinical Legal Education.
