LSU Law 3L Alaina Richard was named the Best Oral Advocate in the second preliminary round of the National Pretrial Competition this weekend in Gulfport, Fla., over the weekend.
Richard, a native of Baton Rouge, received the highest average score of all competitors from the 16 participating law schools.
