The LSU Law Center’s Saluki Invitational Jury Trial Competition team of Dan Farris, Vivian Jeansonne, Angelina LaCour, Sarah Massoud, Lance Neyland, and Robert Ross, tied for first place at the Saluki Invitational Jury Trial Competition, which was held October 23-25 at the Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, IL.   Team member Dan Farris also took home the competition’s Best Oralist award.

The Saluki Competition required students to conduct a full voir dire of a real jury, and then present an entire criminal case to the jury, who then rendered a verdict.  Lindsay Jarrell-Blouin (’12) of the East Baton Rouge Public Defender’s Office coached the team.
