Original Ship’s Telegraph

A ship’s telegraph is a device used to send written orders from the captain’s bridge to a remote part of a vessel where the mechanics of the order are carried out. This telegraph, designed by Fritz Hecht, measures 42 inches in height, 12 inches in width, and is 18 inches in depth.
