Program Description

The LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources 2015 symposium, An International Offshore Oil and Gas Comparison: UK, Norway, USA, will be held March 12-13, 2015 in the McKernan Auditorium at the LSU Law Center.

In this symposium, international oil and gas experts will examine several highly pertinent regulatory and contractual issues as these are dealt with in the USA, UK and Norway.  The symposium will focus on four themes:

• Oil and Gas Licensing Systems
• Third Party Access to Offshore Infrastructure
• License (Lease) Terms
• Environment, Health and Safety

About the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources

The LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources (JELR) is a student-edited academic journal at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center committed to developing and promoting a variety of topics in the purview of energy law. The JELR was established by students at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in November of 2011.
