Doors open at 5pm for our Meet & Greet, then our speaker will begin at 5:30pm.The topic of this years Rubin Lecture is "Can the Rule of Law Protect Us In Times of Uncertainty?" Our guest speaker is retired Federal Court Judge Bernice Donald. Judge Donald is a lawyer and former federal judge. She served as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from 2011 to 2023. She previously served as a United States district judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee from 1995 to 2011. In January 2024, she became a member of the law firm of Burch, Porter and Johnson, PLLC. This event is open to all LSU students, staff, and faculty.
