2025 End of Year Giving

Online

To make a gift online, click on the name of the fund you would like to donate to below.

PLEASE NOTE: Credit cards must be processed in 2025 to qualify for charitable giving tax credit this year, which means that your gift transaction must be fully processed (approved by the card issuer) by Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

Mail

All mailed checks should be made payable to the LSU Foundation, with the fund of your choice written in the memo line, and mailed to LSU Foundation, 3796 Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. For a 2025 charitable giving tax credit, donations by check must be postmarked by Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

In-Person

If you would like to deliver your gift in person, please visit the LSU Foundation Center for Philanthropy (3796 Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70802) on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In accordance with IRS guidelines, gifts must be received by Wednesday, December 31.

The LSU Foundation will have special hours during the winter holiday break. Our building will close at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, and will resume regular office hours at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026. We will offer 3 holiday gift drop-off opportunities at our building:

  • Monday, Dec. 29, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 30, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 31, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

IRA Charitable Rollover

If you are 70½ years old or older, you can give up to $108,000 annually from your IRA without having to pay income taxes on the money. For more information on how to make an IRA Charitable Rollover gift in 2025, visit lsufoundation.planmylegacy.org/ira-charitable-rollover.

Stock

Instructions for making a gift of appreciated stock can be found at lsufoundation.org/stock. All stock transfers must be complete by Dec. 31, 2025. Please notify Amy Pankey, apankey@lsufoundation.org or (225) 578-1520, if you plan to make a gift of stock.
