2024 End of Year Giving
Thank you for including LSU Law in your end-of-year giving! Your support serves as the foundation for upon which our success is built upon and ensures that we continue to attract the best and brightest to the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
Online
To make a gift online, click on the name of the fund you would like to donate to below.
If you would like to make a gift to any other fund, please click here. Then click on the “Academics” button and select “LSU Law” and the fund that you would like to contribute to.
PLEASE NOTE: Credit cards must be processed in 2024 to qualify for charitable giving tax credit this year, which means that your gift transaction must be fully processed (approved by the card issuer) by Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024.
All mailed checks should be made payable to the LSU Foundation, with the fund of your choice written in the memo line, and mailed to LSU Foundation, 3796 Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. For a 2024 charitable giving tax credit, donations by check must be postmarked by Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024.
In-Person
In accordance with IRS guidelines, gifts must be received by Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024. If you would like to deliver your gift in person, please visit the LSU Foundation Center for Philanthropy (3796 Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70802).
The LSU Foundation will offer holiday drop-off hours during the winter break on the following days:
- Friday, Dec. 27, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 30, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Dec. 31, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The LSU Foundation Center for Philanthropy will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, and will resume regular office hours at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.
IRA Charitable Rollover
If you are 70½ years old or older, you can give up to $100,000 annually from your IRA without having to pay income taxes on the money. For more information on how to make an IRA Charitable Rollover gift in 2024, visit lsufoundation.planmylegacy.org/ira-charitable-rollover.
Stock
Instructions for making a gift of appreciated stock can be found at lsufoundation.org/stock. All stock transfers must be complete by Dec. 31, 2024. Please notify Amy Pankey, apankey@lsufoundation.org or (225) 578-1520, if you plan to make a gift of stock.
