This endowed scholarship was established in memory of the late Sidney E. Cook by the law firm of Cook,Yancey, King & Galloway of Shreveport.
An award is made annually based on financial need and demonstrated scholastic achievement, with preference given to a current or entering full-time student from the Shreveport/Bossier area. If there are no applicants from the Shreveport/Bossier area, the preference is given to a student from the North Louisiana area. Financial need and other scholarships held by the student will be considered in the selection process.
