The Law Class of 1950 Professor of Law was established by the LSU Board of Supervisors in 1997. This professorship was established by members of the Law Class of 1950 and surviving spouses of deceased members of the class. This Professorship honors the LSU Law Class of 1950 and the extraordinary accomplishments of members of the class to the legal profession, the State of Louisiana and the United States.
