1950s
J. D. O’Brien (’50) is writing an autobiography. After serving in WWII, he completed his undergraduate and legal education at LSU, practiced for two years in Louisiana, then went to Washington. He worked at the Justice Department from the Eisenhower administration into the Carter administration, becoming Deputy Assistant Attorney General under President Gerald Ford. O’Brien celebrated his 92nd birthday on June 3 and lives in Ft. Washington, MD.
