1980s

Richard Arsenault ('80) recently spoke at the Mass Tort Conference in Las Vegas discussing "Dangers of Evaluating Mass Tort Projects" and moderated a panel on "The Role of Judiciary and Views from the Bench." Arsenault was also recently nominated for membership into “ Lawyers of Distinction” and selected for the 2024 Top 10 Louisiana High Verdict Law Attorneys. In February, he will be an invited speaker at a Mass Tort Conference hosted by Epiq in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 


Jeff Tillery ('86) has been admitted as a Fellow to the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Elizabeth M. Carmody (’98) will begin her term as president of the Shreveport Bar Association on Jan. 1, 2025.

2000s

Judge Kelly Balfour (’01) of the 19th Judicial District Court of Louisiana was elected to the First Circuit Court of Appeal in Louisiana.
