S. Gene Fendler (’73) of Liskow & Lewis is among New Orleans Magazine’s “Top Lawyers” of 2019 (admiralty & maritime law, alternate dispute resolution)


Marilyn Maloney (’75) of Liskow & Lewis has been elected as the 2020 President of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers. Maloney has been a member of the organization for 24 years, having previously served on the Board of Governors as President-Elect, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. The American College of Real Estate Lawyers is a national association of approximately 1,000 distinguished real estate lawyers. Admission into the college is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process.


1980s

Richard Arsenault (’80) of Neblett, Beard & Arsenault recently chaired the LSBA Admiralty Symposium and the LSBA Complex Litigation Symposiums. He has also been selected by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel as a member of the Nation's Top One Percent and has been nominated for membership in Premier Lawyers of America.

Charles B. Wilmore (’03) of Liskow & Lewis is among New Orleans Magazine’s “Top Lawyers” of 2019 (mass tort litigation/class actions)


David Joseph (’03) has been nominated to fill a seat on the U.S District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, in Alexandria. He has been a U.S. Attorney in the Western District since his confirmation in March 2018, and was previously was assistant federal prosecutor.

 

 

 

 

 


Erin Kilgore (’07) has been named a 2019 Forty Under 40 honoree by Business Report. She is labor and employment litigation partner at Kean Miller L.L.P.


John C. Morris IV (’08) has joined Jones Walker as special counsel in the corporate practice group in the law firm's Baton Rouge office. He was formerly deputy director of the civil division within the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.


2010s

Druit Gremillion Jr. (’11) has been named a 2019 Forty Under 40 honoree by Business Report. He is a partner at Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson L.L.P. and also serves as city attorney for the City of Central.


Jill Kindler (’11) has been named a 2019 Forty Under 40 honoree by Business Report. She is a litigation and valuation consultant at Hannis T. Bourgeois L.L.P.


Francisca Comeaux (’11) has been named a 2019 Forty Under 40 honoree by Business Report. She oversees Louisiana regulatory relations at CenterPoint Energy.


Ryan Chenevert (’12) has been named a 2019 Forty Under 40 honoree by Business Report. He is a partner at Fletcher, Roy & Chenevert LLC,


Lydia Adeosun (’14) has been hired by the Mountain West Conference as assistant director, compliance. She previously served as an NCAA postgraduate intern with the enforcement division.


Julien Petit (’17) has joined Phelps Dunbar as an associate.


Hayden Bigby (’19) has joined Phelps Dunbar as an associate.
