1970s

Charles Michael Hill (‘76), a Lafayette Attorney and former Federal Magistrate Judge, was appointed to act as Lafayette City Marshal.
Robert Shadoin (‘78) was appointed as deputy secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

1980s

Zack Blanchard (‘81), a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association House of Delegates, was selected as the 2018 Louisiana Tech Alumni Association's College of Liberal Arts Alumnus of the Year.

1990s

Gwynn Shamlin (‘94) was approved as top attorney for the East Baton Rouge Parish school system.
