1970s

Cyril Vetter’s (’72) documentary film "Deacon John's Jump Blues" will be shown at the “Music in Movies” on Aug. 23 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
Cary Menard ('79) was named to head the civil division of the North Shore District Attorney's office.

1980s

Roger Johns (’83) was named Georgia author of the year in the mystery category for his novel “Dark River Rising.”
Harry J. “Skip” Phillips (’83), managing partner of Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, was installed as the 2018-19 secretary of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.
Amanda W. Barnett (’88), general counsel and corporate secretary for Red River Bank and Red River Bancshares, Inc., was installed as the 2018-19 vice president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.

1990s

W. Michael Street (’96), partner of Watson, McMillan & Street in Monroe, was installed as the 2018-19 president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.

2010s

Ryan Scordato (’10) joined the business law firm Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A., in Orlando, Fla., as a construction attorney.
Graham Ryan (’11), an associate with Jones Walker LLP, was selected for the “On the Rise - Top 40 Young Lawyers” award by the American Bar Association, becoming the first Louisiana lawyer to win the national award.
