1950s

Warren L. Mengis ('50) retired from the LSU Law Center after nearly 30 years as a professor.

Harold Brouillette ('54) teaches family law and substance abuse classes at Avoyelles and J. Levy Dabadie Correctional Centers in Louisiana. He was recently featured in the American Correctional Association's publication Best in the Business for his efforts.

1960s

George Griffing ('60) has moved to Pineville and now limits his practice to real estate transactions.

Anthony Correro, 1965Anthony "Andy" J. Correro, III ('65) has joined Adams and Reese LLP as Special Counsel with the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group in the New Orleans office.
John Cox, 1968John Cox ('68) is currently serving as president of the Shreveport Bar Association. He has also been selected to serve as the president of the Committee of One Hundred - an organization of the leading business and civic leaders in the Shreveport-Bossier City-Northwest Louisiana area - in 2009.
Leon Reymond, 1969Leon J. Reymond, Jr. ('69), an attorney with Liskow & Lewis, was selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.

1970s

Katherine Spaht ('71) retired from the LSU Law Center after 36 years as a professor.

Ron Faucheux ('74) is president of the Clarus Research Group, a new national polling and public affairs research firm. He also teaches at George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management and the Public Policy Institute at Georgetown University.

Philip Jones, 1974Philip K. Jones, Jr. ('74), an attorney with Liskow & Lewis, was selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.

Jack Langlois ('76) is one of three attorneys establishing a Houston office for DLA Piper, the nation's largest law firm.

Mike McClelland ('76) is attorney in the Frisco, Texas, office of Strasburger & Price, LLP.

Patti Richards, 1976Patti M. Richards ('76) was installed as chair of the Atlanta Bar Tax Section and the president-elect of the American Association of Attorney-CPA's at their annual meeting in June.

Charles Landry, 1977Charles A. Landry ('77) is featured in the summer 2008 issue of 10/12 Magazine, which focuses on the Gulf South's business corridor surrounding Interstates 10 and 12 in Louisiana. He is with the law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere & Denegre LLP.

Kerry John Anzalone ('78) is a federal administrative law judge with the Social Security Administration's Office of Disability Adjudication and Review in New Orleans.

Anne Keaty ('78) is a professor of legal studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

James Daniels ('81) is with the firm of Ringuet, Daniels & Collier in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Mark A. Delphin ('81) is with Delphin Law Offices, PLC in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

George J. Forest, Jr. ('81) has formed a partnership with Craig D. Little and a practice - Forest and Little, PLLC - in Lafayette, Louisiana.

William Bennett, 1982William Blake Bennett ('82), an attorney with Liskow & Lewis, was selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.

Bill Conway ('82) was named a partner in the Skadden Arps Washington, D.C., firm.

Jane Taber ('82) has formed Taber, Estes, Thorne & Carr PLLC in Dallas. It is one of the rare, multi-partner, women-owned law firms in the country.

Neil Ettinger ('95) opened his own firm of Ettinger & Associates, LLC in July 2007. He opened a second office in February 2008.

Joe Black ('00) is an assistant U.S. Attorney in the Middle District of Louisiana. He has served in that role since 2006.

Brian Arabie ('01) has opened a new practice in Lake Charles focusing on commercial/business transactions and litigation, oil and gas and property law.

Lawrence J. Centola III ('01) was installed as a member of the 2008-09 Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section's Council as a YLS Representative and part of the American Bar Association House of Delegates.

Brenda Winters ('04) received her M.P.A. and M.A. in liberal arts from LSU. She was also recently nominated by LSU for the 2008 Presidential Management Fellowship Program and has started a private management consulting practice.

Stephanie Morris, 2005Stephanie C. Morris ('05) has joined the firm of Graydon, Head & Ritchey, LLP's Litigation Client Service Department as an associate attorney.

Jayson Durden ('06) is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. and has been selected for major. He recently served in Ramadi, Iraq, as the Battalion Judge Advocate for 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines.

Carli Beckett ('07) recently received her LL.M. degree in taxation from Georgetown University, where she graduated with distinction from the Honors Program. She will soon begin clerking for Judge Michael B. Thornton of the U.S. Tax Court.

Trevor Wilson ('07) recently graduated from NYU's LL.M. program in taxation. He is now associated with the Jones Walker law firm.
