1960s

	Richard Chappuis (’65) was inducted into the Lafayette Bar Association and Foundation Hall of Fame on Sept. 7.

1970s

	Paul M. Hebert, Jr. (’70), an attorney with Breazeale, Sachse and Wilson, L.L.P., was named to the 2018 Edition of Best Lawyers in the Family Law category.

Van R. Mayhall, Jr. (’71), an attorney at Breazeale, Sachse and Wilson, L.L.P., was selected as 2018 "Lawyer of the Year" for Litigation and Controversy - Tax in the Baton Rouge area by Best Lawyers. In addition to the Lawyer of the Year award, Mayhall was also listed in the 2018 Best Lawyers in America in Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships), Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law, Corporate Compliance Law, Corporate Governance Law, Corporate Law, Government Relations Practice, Litigation - Regulatory Enforcement (SEC, Telecom, Energy), Litigation – Securities, Mergers and Acquisitions Law, and Reinsurance Law.

	Patrick Ottinger (’73) was inducted into the Lafayette Bar Association and Foundation Hall of Fame on Sept. 7.

	Trenton J. Oubre (’91), an attorney with Breazeale, Sachse and Wilson, L.L.P., was named to the 2018 Edition of Best Lawyers in the Litigation - Insurance and Workers' Compensation Law - Employers categories.

	Cullen J. Dupuy (’93), an attorney with Breazeale, Sachse and Wilson, L.L.P., was named to the 2018 Edition of Best Lawyers in the Litigation - Insurance category.

	John T. Andrishok (’97), an attorney with Breazeale, Sachse and Wilson, L.L.P., was named to the 2018 Edition of Best Lawyers in the Construction Law category.

	Thomas R. Temple, Jr. (’98), an attorney at Breazeale, Sachse and Wilson, L.L.P., was selected as 2018 "Lawyer of the Year" for Litigation – Insurance in the Baton Rouge area by Best Lawyers. In addition to the Lawyer of the Year award, Temple was also listed in the 2018 Best Lawyers in America in Commercial Litigation.
