If your Civil Code does not contain Official Legislative Commentary, you will be expected to either access the Civil Code on Westlaw or Lexis or purchase a Civil Code that contains the required materials.  A recommended version of the Civil Code with commentary is Lonegrass, Louisiana Civil Code with Official Legislative Commentary: 2023 Student Edition.
